1/700 Earth Defense Flagship Andromeda

I watched the tv show Space Battleship Yamato while I was a kid, and these Ships from Bandai do wake up some old memories. Andromeda was the Flagship of the Earth Defense Fleet in episode 1 of the second season , it was supposed to have twice the firepower of the Yamato, with two wave motion guns. This kit is in scale 1/700 which means around 40cm (~15,7 inches) long. It was build out of the box with exception of the replaced gun Barrels and two circuit boards which were added for lighting, one for the motion guns and one for the engines. Painted with Tamiya acrylics and MiG products for weathering.
